ArtCenter
Hi! It is a social and educational project in slums of Kenya, aimed at developing children’s creative thinking skills through art.

Our mission

Our goal is for children from slums to develop foundational skills in art, master different techniques, gain confidence in their artistic abilities.

We teach children creativity, drawing, painting, sculpture, embroidery, and much more.

We teach them how to earn money through their art. The money raised from the auctions of their works is used to buy everything necessary for the children's living and education.

Why is this important?

In the slums, children are left to fend for themselves. The low level of education leads to an increase in child alcoholism and drug addiction, the development of child prostitution, and a high rate of teenage pregnancies.

The lack of opportunities for parents to earn money for food and housing forces them to send children to beg. Poverty begets poverty. Children are deprived of their childhood.

How can we help?

  • Take children off the streets.
  • Provide children with the opportunity to learn, develop their creative potential, and expand their world- view, allowing them to see how diverse the world is.
  • Give them a childhood.
  • Open up career prospects in the artistic field.
  • Create a foundation for a normal future for the children.

Our story

Our Art Center is already 3 years old. During this time, we have taught over 100 students, sold more than 250 artworks, and helped over 50 families of our students.
We started in a small room, and now we have a large space and can welcome even more students every day.
We operate based on the mission of Assistance.
